We lost Diesel in Mar 2014. It was very tough on all of us. We still miss him every day.
Diesel was a certified Therapy Dog with St John’s Ambulance. He loved everyone he met! Diesel was involved with a program called “See Spot Read”, which involved a child reading to him for 30 minutes each week, in an effort to increase their reading skills in a place without judgement or expectation. The children got along with Diesel famously and their reading did improve at the end of the eight week program! It was really cool to see.
Diesel was always very affectionate. We used to say he is the dog that is “always right there”. He loved people and was a very compassionate man. Diesel was always spotted at the dog park playing his favourite game, “Kong” with his favourite buddy Bear.
